Nantucket native Meghan Trainor presented three high school girls with scholarships to Loyola Marymount University during the 24th annual Women in Entertainment Breakfast on Wednesday in Los Angekes, according to Billboard.com.

Trainor presented a full-ride scholarship to mentee Victoria Arevalo, a $100,000 scholarship to Larissa Ramirez, and then an unexpected second full-ride scholarship to Laura Espita.

However, before presenting the awards to the three students, the Grammy-nominated singer needed to say two things before she began, Billboard.com reported.

“I gotta say two things before I start. One, I gotta pee so bad. Two, Melinda [Gates], you’re such a boss,’’ Trainor said.

The breakfast is hosted by The Hollywood Reporter at Milk Studios to honor and celebrate the achievements of the 100 most powerful women in Hollywood. The event welcomed 15 girls total who were mentored by leading women in the entertainment industry for the past year.
