Boston’s Will Dailey didn’t let anything stop him from performing in France

After his club show was canceled Monday, he played a set in a French library and live-streamed the whole thing.

Local musician Will Dailey is currently in France, touring behind his latest album, National Throat. In the wake of the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday, his show at Action Culturelle in Saint-Brieuc was canceled.

Not one to be defeated, Dailey and drummer Dave Brophy took matters into their own hands and decided to play in a library instead. The musicians streamed the set live so that fans worldwide could tune in.

Between songs, Dailey expressed his support for a country in mourning and his appreciation for those who gave him a place to play, saying, “It is an honor to be here with you.’’
