This week, BosTen is bringing you a truly spooky version of your ideal Halloween weekend. No worries — we’re not here for that weak, pretend-scary stuff. Ditch trick-or-treating and get on board…if you dare (haha).

Hoppy Halloween at Aeronaut Brewing Company Literally every fall and Halloween thing is happening at Aeronaut on Saturday, including detailed face painting, arts and crafts, and of course, loads of different seasonal beers. (Saturday, October 31 at 2 p.m.; Aeronaut Brewing Company; free)

Horror at the Pops Boston Symphony Orchestra conductor Keith Lockhart teams up with Berklee College of Music musicians to premiere a haunting original score for the ever-classic 1922 vampire film Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror. (Friday, October 30 at 8 p.m.; Symphony Hall; $37-$47)

The Boston Common Costume Dash 5K Dress up in something goofy or scary (but breathable), and trot around downtown Boston, showing off your speed and creativity. (Saturday, October 31 at 9 a.m.; Copley Square; $50; all ages)

River Bar’s Arrested Development Halloween Party With LOL-themed drinks like “The Loose-Seal,’’ “The STEVER OVERHOLT!’’ and the “I Just Blue Myself,’’ dress up like a Nevernude or your favorite Funke and party Arrested Development style. (Saturday, October 31 at 11 a.m.; River Bar; free; 21+)

Somerville Theatre’s Halloween Horror Movie Marathon Twelve hours of classic horror films on 35mm. Bring a costume and an appetite for popcorn/blood. (Saturday, October 31 at 12 p.m.; Somerville Theatre; $30; all ages)

16th Annual Boston Halloween Bike Ride While cycling might seem like the antithesis of free candy (sigh), join costume-clad bikers anyway for an extra special Halloween ride around Boston. (Saturday, October 31 at 7 p.m.; Copley Square; free)

Titanic Masquerade Party Cruise Attend a sexy night of Halloween by joining the rest of the majestic, undead, masked partiers aboard a massive two-deck yacht (your faux-Titanic, of course). (Saturday, October 31 at 9 p.m.; 200 Seaport Blvd, Boston; $25+; 21+)

Goosebumps 2.0 at Good Life A week full of Halloween events wraps up with a grand costume party filled with “monster blood’’ shots, DJ sets from A.VEE and JAY K THE DJ, and a $666 costume contest prize. (Saturday, October 31 at 10 p.m.; Good Life; $10; 21+)

Halloween Cover Shows Did you know you can experience the music of bands like the B-52s, Hole, Bikini Kill, and Garbag e at small venues around Boston? Well, technically it’s local bands playing their music, but it’s a fun Boston tradition nonetheless. (Various venues, times, prices, and age restrictions)

Go to Salem Head up to the north shore and take a stroll through the Chambers of Terror, or just cruise the streets and find plenty of spooky happenings.
