Josh Kantor is the rhythm behind the Red Sox, tickling the ivories for Boston’s beloved baseball team between innings and during pitching changes. While he may have some standards that keep the Fenway faithful on their feet, he can also be seen occasionally at clubs around town, sitting in with punk bands like So So Glos, or attending local shows.

As Boston and Cambridge gear up to say goodbye to legendary rock club TT the Bear’s Place, which closes officially July 25, many artists and fans have said farewell in their own way. Pixies took to the modest Central Square venue last week to honor the place that helped give them their start. Kantor visited the TT’s stage on Monday night say goodbye too, playing a bittersweet rendition of Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World’’ on celesta.
