Boston’s Bachelorette contestant continues his not-so-quiet exit

coutesy of ABC

Last week’s episode of The Bachelorette left us on a cliffhanger, with Boston’s own Kupah being asked to leave, and promptly having a meltdown on set. The ordeal was spurred when Kupah privately asked Bachelorette Kaitlyn if he was selected only to fill a racial quota on the show, an issue that has long plagued the Bachelor and Bachelorette series. From there, the discussion escalates to the point where Kaitlyn asks Kupah to leave. (Warning: spoilers ahead.)

Kupah isn’t into it.

Monday’s episode starts off with the second half of Kupah’s rant. Even when there’s nobody to argue with, Kupah continues to yell. Kaitlyn eventually confronts him again, recommending he “just accept [being sent home] because now you’re creating this uncomfortable situation.’’

Kupah still isn’t into it.

He eventually stops yelling, but then launches into whisper-rant mode. By this point, it’s unclear whether Kupah is hurt by the elimination, upset by the race issues that he referenced, or if all of the wheels have just fallen off and he’s yelling for the sake of yelling.

Unfortunately, his meltdown gets him nowhere, as he is still asked to leave the show, but not before making sure that nobody in Bachelorette history will ever forget Kupah from Boston.
