As festival comes to a close, Boston Calling announces its fall lineup
As the final bands closed out this weekend’s Boston Calling, festival organizers used the giant video screens on City Hall Plaza to announce the lineup for the Fall 2015 festival from September 25-27.
Among the major names set to perform include indie rock vets The Avett Brothers and up-and-coming roots rockers Alabama Shakes, two bands whose feel-good rhythms originate south of the Mason-Dixon line.
The fall lineup also marks a return to Boston Calling for Of Monsters and Men, who performed at the inaugural festival back in the spring of 2013:
