Bill Brett/The Boston Globe

New Kids on the Block fans, take note: Donnie Wahlberg is doing a meet-and-greet in Boston on Saturday. If that’s not enough to get you off the couch, there are a host of other fun events going on around the city. From new exhibits at the Museum of Fine Arts to a spring beer fest, here’s what’s happening this weekend.

1. Art: Hokusai at the MFA

The works of famed Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai are now on display at the Museum of Fine Arts. The exhibition features paintings and prints spanning his six decade-long career, including some of his most famous pieces like “Under the Wave Off Kanagawa (Great Wave)’’ and “Phoenix.’’
