This year’s graduation season comes after an unprecedented school year for students. After being abruptly forced into virtual learning in the middle of the previous academic year, students spent the last year with a lot of uncertainty about when things might return to normal. As school districts slowly eased back into the classroom, students and their families saw more hope for the traditional milestones like prom and graduation.
With high schools across the state reopening and everyone aged 12 and up being approved for the COVID-19 vaccine, many people will be walking across a stage in person this year. The coronavirus pandemic has altered these big events for so many, there’s still cause to celebrate making it through the end of the school year.
Boston.com wants to celebrate with the class of 2021 and recognize them for their accomplishments over the past year. Like last year, we’re compiling a virtual yearbook of those graduating, featuring photos of your best moments.
If you’re part of the graduating class of 2021 — whether that be high school or college — or know someone who is, and would like to be part of the virtual yearbook, please fill out the form below with a photo and message you’d like to share or e-mail [email protected], and we’ll feature them in a future Boston.com article.
