Live Nation rolls out $25 concert ticket sale for thousands of shows

A number of the acts will make stops in Massachusetts this year including Tim McGraw, Gunna, Hootie & the Blowfish, Missy Elliott, Blink-182, P!NK, and Avril Lavigne.

Amid major pushback over concert costs and efforts to end hidden “junk fees,” Live Nation announced that it will offer a limited-time promotion for fans to access $25 tickets for more than 5,000 shows.

The sale will take place May 8-14 during what the entertainment company called “concert week.” A number of the acts will make stops in Massachusetts this year including Tim McGraw, Gunna, Hootie & the Blowfish, Missy Elliott, Blink-182, P!NK, and Avril Lavigne.

The prices are still subject to additional taxes and fees, the company noted.

Live Nation said the promotion includes shows for the following artists:

T-Mobile customers, Rakuten users, and RBCxMusic clients will get early access on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Hilton Honors members will be able to use Hilton Honors points to secure tickets beginning Wednesday when the general public gains access to the sale.
