Ben Affleck has some new members in his “DunKings” squad: Former Patriots coach Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.
In the 2025 Dunkin’ Super Bowl commercial, aired following the first drive of Super Bowl LIX, Ben and Casey Affleck represent the coffeemaker at a “battle of the coffee brands.”
While the brothers grudgingly admit they couldn’t convince Matt Damon and Tom Brady to reprise their roles from last year’s Dunkin’ Super Bowl commercial, they feel good about adding Belichick and Hudson.
“Forget them suckers, Matt Damon and Tom Brady don’t have the heart of a champion,” Affleck tells a young child. “We got a new squad. DunKings sequel: Afflecks and Belichick!”
As seen in the Dunkin’ Super Bowl teaser released last week, the fourth DunKings member, actor Jeremy Strong, is too busy soaking in a barrel of Dunkin’ coffee grounds to join the upcoming battle.
Among the competitors in this coffee showdown are The Drip Squad, a hippie coffee shop led by comedian Druski; The Burger Chain Gang, featuring an off-brand Ronald McDonald; and The Barista Buds, a stand-in for Starbucks that offers a “dark seasonal roast with coriander and slight balsamic drizzle.”
“Sounds like what’s in my garbage disposal,” cracks Belichick.
The Afflecks get their digs at Starbucks’ expense as well.
“How much to wait a half hour to get my name spelled wrong on the cup?” Ben jokes.
“Nobody wants a goat milk double half caf soy milk cap,” Casey quips. “You could just brew it. It’s beans and water.”
Though the Dunkin’ Super Bowl ad was only a minute long, the company dropped a seven-minute short film called “DunKings 2: The Movie” that deepens the lore of Affleck’s fictional boy band and even brings New Kids on the Block member Donnie Wahlberg into the fold.
