Noah Kahan ‘hung out with some heroes’ at Dana-Farber’s Jimmy Fund Clinic

"They were funny, kind, intelligent, and they were brave," Kahan wrote on Instagram. "I left feeling so moved by the kindness of the staff, the patients, and the families at the Jimmy Fund."

A day after throwing out the first pitch at Fenway Park, singer-songwriter and New England native Noah Kahan stopped by Dana-Farber’s Jimmy Fund Clinic to spend time with some of its youngest pediatric cancer patients and their families on Monday.

More Noah Kahan:

“Hung out with some heroes yesterday,” the “Stick Season” singer shared in an Instagram post Tuesday. “We played video games, played guitar, talked about football, talked about music.

“They were funny, kind, intelligent, and they were brave,” Kahan continued. “I left feeling so moved by the kindness of the staff, the patients, and the families at the Jimmy Fund.

“Their most recent theme has been ‘superheroes’  which feels right because to me that is the only way to truly describe what they do, what they go through, and the strength they possess. I’ll think about everyone I met yesterday for the rest of my life. Thank you for having me.”

The Jimmy Fund also shared photos on social media, writing, “Moments like these mean so much to our patients and their families – THANK YOU! 💙”

Kahan’s return to Boston comes amid a brief break in his ongoing “We’ll All Be Here Forever Tour,” which includes two sold-out shows at Fenway Park, July 18-19.
