Sarah Jessica Parker drops by Boston dressed for the weather
When Sarah Jessica Parker posted a photo of herself at South Station, fans couldn’t help but wonder . . . why was the actress visiting Boston?
The “Sex and the City’’ star was just in town, pushing a massive luggage cart through South Station and wearing what looks to be a conductor’s hat in a Thursday Instagram post.

“Pure joy,’’ Parker wrote. “Thanks Frank for letting me wear your old school, the real deal hat and for the quality time with that gorgeous luggage cart. Always a treat to arrive at South Station Boston and looking forward to my next 24 hours in this great city.’’
She signed the post with her signature “X, SJ,’’ and added, “PS in advance of any inquiries or condemnations, the trim on my hood is FAUX @imposter4animals.’’
In addition to the hat and faux fur-trimmed coat, Parker was wearing some sweet gold boots.
While it’s not clear what Parker is doing in Boston (her representatives didn’t immediately return a request for comment), she’ll be back on set for the third season of HBO’s “Divorce,’’ which she both stars in and executive produces.
