Red Sox celebrate World Series win, spray champagne at Boston nightclub
The cheers and champagne were flying at Icon Nightclub early Wednesday morning.
Wednesday promises to be one giant, rolling party for the Red Sox.
Hours before boarding the duck boats for the World Series parade, a group of Sox players hit Icon Nightclub to celebrate with fans.

Andrew Benintendi, Mookie Betts, Xander Bogaerts, J.D. Martinez, Eduardo Nunez, Rick Porcello, and Eduardo Rodriguez arrived at the downtown Boston club to cheers from a few hundred Red Sox fans at a little after 12:15 a.m., joining a crowd that had been dancing to hits spun by Jam’n 94.5’s DJ Pup Dawg.
Icon was primed for the players’ arrival, decked out in red and blue decorations as guests alternated between dancing, checking their phones, and wondering aloud when the Sox would arrive.
“This crowd is about a 6 right now,” Pup Dawg called out at around midnight. “We need to get this energy up to a 10. The Red Sox are on their way.”

When the players arrived, fans were like moths to a light, hovering around the VIP area for photos with them as jams like DJ Khaled’s “All I Do Is Win” blared through the speakers.
Later in the night — or morning — Betts, Martinez, and Rodriguez sprayed champagne, including a jumbo bottle of Armand de Brignac Brut Gold champagne, into the crowd.

The past few days have seemed like one long champagne party for the team: Page Six reports that they were gifted $100,000 worth of champagne from a neighboring table at the Nightingale Nightclub in West Hollywood on Sunday night.
