Celtics gather for ‘family dinner’ before season opener
Players, coaches, and their families all headed to owner Wyc Grousbeck's house on Sunday.
The Boston Celtics held a “family dinner” at owner Wyc Grousbeck’s house on Sunday, two days before the team kicks off its regular season with a game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. at TD Garden.
The get-together was attended by the players, coaching staff, owners, and their families.

Team spokeswoman Heather Walker said the dinner was a way to emphasize the organization’s identity as a family and to bring together both old and new players with team owners.
