Country music star Cole Swindell stopped into Loretta’s Last Call in the Fenway for lunch and an impromptu performance ahead of his Friday concert at Worcester’s DCU Center with Dustin Lynch and Lauren Alaina.

According to a Facebook video of his appearance, Swindell shared with the crowd at the Southern-themed bar and restaurant that Loretta’s is his “favorite bar in Boston.’’ In both 2015 and 2016, Swindell popped by Loretta’s after sold-out concerts.

Swindell’s Friday performance at Loretta’s included, among other hits, “Ain’t Worth the Whiskey,’’ a 2014 favorite from his debut, eponymous studio album.

He also signed a guitar and left it at Loretta’s “for anybody that ever comes’’ and wants to play some music.
