Here’s why it seems like Tom Brady posted a ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’ message to Gisele Bundchen in June

On Monday, Tom Brady posted a photo of his wife, Gisele Bundchen, to his social media accounts with the caption, “Feliz Dia Dos Namorados te amo muito.”

However, Brady wasn’t wishing his wife an extremely belated happy Valentine’s Day. He posted the photo in celebration of Brazil’s own version of the holiday, Dia Dos Namorados, which takes place on June 12. Dia Dos Namorados is observed in much the same way as V-Day, with gifts and declarations of love, but it’s timed to occur the day before Saint Anthony’s Day, which honors the patron saint of Brazil.

As of this article’s publication, the top comment on Brady’s Facebook post was from someone who probably didn’t get the memo about Dia Dos Namorados, but it was pretty amusing regardless.

“If Tom Brady says it’s Valentine’s Day in the middle of June,” the commenter wrote, “then it’s F’n Valentine’s Day in the middle of June.”
