Actress and Pittsfield native Elizabeth Banks teamed up with Rachel Bloom, Jane Lynch, Adam Scott, and other stars in a NSFW get-out-the-vote music video that makes fun of Donald Trump and the trend of activist celebrity choirs.
Funny or Die posted the video, called “HOLY S*** (You’ve Got To Vote),” on Friday.
It starts with Bloom, of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend fame, playing the piano.
“You may not recognize my hands,” she says, “but you may not recognize my face also.”
She is soon joined by celebrities, one after another, giving their thoughts on the election.
“‘We Are The World’-type songs are tired, but Donald Trump is a garbage fire,” they sing.
Lynch, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Patti LuPone are also featured in the video, though they’re “too famous to come to the studio, so we’re singing on our phones.”
The group links Trump to Adolf Hitler and calls him “human syphilis.”
After a dramatic key change, the song escalates into a full studio choir, at which point even Amber Rose makes a surprise cameo.
