Watch Chris Evans and his dog do the 22 Push-Up Challenge
The cuteness is unbearable.
Similar to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge that took the Internet by storm in 2014, celebrities are once again flexing their philanthropic and social media muscles to take on the #22PushupChallenge. The latest in the string of famous people nominating others for the challenge — which so far includes Newton-bred actor John Krasinski, Chris Pratt, and The Rock — is Sudbury native/Captain America Chris Evans.

Quick refresher: The 22 Push-Up Challenge involves people recording themselves doing 22 push-ups to raise awareness for veterans’ mental health. Participants then nominate friends to do the challenge and to help spread the word.
Evans, who was nominated by Krasinski (and his adorable dog), banged out his push-ups in a video posted Monday afternoon next to his own adorable dog. Evans then nominated his Avengers co-stars Anthony Mackie and Jeremy Renner.
We’d be remiss not to mention that Evans is very good at push-ups.
