Are you jealous of this 5-year-old who got a Matt Damon birthday cake?
The cake was for Pink's daughter, who has a crush on the Cambridge native.
Pink, the multi-platinum popstar and aerial dancer extraordinaire, has a 5-year-old daughter named Willow whose love live is far ahead of her young years. Apparently, Willow has deemed fellow tots unworthy of her affection, and has given her earnest, tiny heart to Matt Damon.
The story dates back to when Pink, in a classic mommmmm! moment, exposed her daughter’s crush on the radio back in April — which, as any former 5-year-old would know, is completely confidential info. According to the singer, it was love at first sight for Willow when she saw The Martian.
“She loves [the movie]. I love it. I thought it was great, but I don’t love it the way she loves it,” Pink said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show. “She asked me if Matt Damon can come to [her birthday party]. I think she has a crush.”
Fast-forward to the day of Willow’s fifth birthday party in June. Matt Damon in the flesh was a no-show, but he made it there in spirit — via Willow’s birthday cake.
