Casey Affleck and wife Summer Phoenix are splitting up
The couple has been married for nearly a decade.
Boston-bred actor and little brother of Ben, Casey Affleck, has split up with wife, Summer Phoenix, after almost 10 years of marriage, according to People.
Affleck, who has starred in such films as Gone Baby Gone, Manchester By The Sea, and Good Will Hunting, had been with Phoenix, actress and sibling of Joaquin and River Phoenix, since 2000. The couple have two sons together: 11-year-old Indiana, and 8-year-old Atticus.
“Casey Affleck and Summer Phoenix have amicably separated. They remain very close friends,’’ Affleck’s rep told People in a statement.
This is the second Affleck brother to separate from his wife in the past year; Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, Ben’s wife of 10 years,announced their plans to divorce in June 2015.
