Wicked bad fashion: The worst dressed celebrities at the 2016 Oscars
Here we go.
Things Boston does well: Sports. Education. Dreamy, talented actors. Areas in which the city of Boston could improve: Fashion.
We’re being honest with ourselves. Boston doesn’t exactly have a reputation for being the chicest. That said, we couldn’t help but round up the worst dressed stars at Sunday night’s Academy Awards:

The Force was not with Star Wars: The Force Awakens actress Daisy Ridley’s gown, which featured a combination of textures and oddly-placed peplum.

Olivia Wilde wore this Valentino Haute Couture gown to Sunday night’s ceremony and accessorized with a choker.

Heidi Klum channeled a ’70s-era bridesmaid with this flowy Marchesa dress.

Kerry Washington wore a Versace gown, complete with a thigh-high slit and leather bodice.

Reese Witherspoon underwhelmed in a purple Oscar de la Renta number.

Kate Winslet’s Ralph Lauren dress definitely looked “slick.’’

Burlington, Massachusetts native Amy Poehler wore a very embroidered design.

Jennifer Jason Leigh arrived at the Academy Awards in a blush Marchesa gown with small floral appliqués.

Lily Cole’s dress from Vivienne Westwood was made of plastic bottles, so points for eco-friendliness.

Jared Leto wore Gucci to the Academy Awards and opted for a flower instead of a bowtie.

Dev Patel sported a classic Burberry tuxedo but didn’t seem to bother to brush his hair.
