Watch John Krasinski and Stephen Colbert act out a scene while fake vomiting the entire time

This is a thing they do for fun, apparently.

John Krasinski stopped by The Late Show last night to talk about his upcoming film, 13 Hours, and to fake vomit with Stephen Colbert. This might be Krasinski’s “favorite thing in the world’’—not appearing on The Late Show, but the fake vomiting bit—the Newton-bred actor said.

It’s exactly what it sounds like, pretty much. Krasinski and Colbert faced off while reading lines from a dramatic A Few Good Men scene, playing Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson, respectively, while acting like they were holding back from puking all over each other.

Fake vomiting has touched all areas of Krasinski’s life, it seems. His wife, actress Emily Blunt, has also fake upchucked on The Late Show—she did so while acting out a scene from Gone With the Wind. Fake vomiting was also the first thing to bond Krasinski and Steve Carell on the set of The Office, Krasinski said.

“I pretended to puke and [Carell] said, ‘Do you know that’s my favorite thing in the world?’’’ Krasinski told Colbert. “Based on a bit you guys did together.’’

“Called ‘waiters who are nauseated by food,’’’ Colbert said.

How sweet. Check out the clip below, but maybe not while you’re eating breakfast.
