Chris Evans is 2015’s actor king of Tumblr

The ever-popular blogging site Tumblr — home to so many cultural fandoms on the Internet — released its 2015 edition of the Year in Review. It includes lists of the site’s top or most reblogged content over the past year, with categories like Most Reblogged Memes, Most Reblogged Albums, Most Viral Tumblrs, etc.
The Most Reblogged Actors and Actresses categories include some familiar names from previous years; former number-ones Jennifer Lawrence and Benedict Cumberbatch are both there, though this year, they came in at eight and nine on their respective lists.
For 2015, Tumblr’s reigning actor king is our very own Sudbury-bred Chris Evans. Seems likely that his popularity skyrocketed upon the release of Avengers: Age of Ultron. (And maybe when he defended Tom Brady. Maybe.)
While teen star Zendaya is the year’s most reblogged actress, Burlington’s Amy Poehler also made the list, ranking at number three.
