Jimmy Fallon will parade through Harvard Square this weekend
Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon has worn many hats throughout his acting career and six-year stint with Saturday Night Live. This weekend, he’ll stop by Harvard University to add “Emperor of Comedy’’ to the list.
The Harvard Lampoon, the university’s humor magazine, will recognize Fallon’s achievements with the Elmer Award for Excellence in Humor at a parade Saturday, People magazine reported. Fallon will parade through Harvard Square at 4 p.m. surrounded by a marching band and Roman-style chariots before receiving the award at a ceremony on the Lampoon’s steps.
In past years, the Lampoon has honored comedians Jay Leno and Robin Williams, People reported.
