Defamation suit by Cosby accusers will go forward
A defamation suit against Bill Cosby filed by three of his accusers will be allowed to go forward, a federal judge ruled Friday, according to The Boston Globe.
The suit was filed in December in Springfield by three woman who say they were sexually assaulted by Cosby. Cosby and his representatives have publicly denied the claims, which the women say tarnished their reputations.
Cosby’s attorneys had requested a dismissal, but US District Judge Mark G. Mastroianni denied the motion.
