Watch Jon Stewart turn heel against John Cena at WWE’s SummerSlam
The former Daily Show host surprised wrestling fans with his appearance at this weekend’s SummerSlam event.
Jon Stewart may be a hero to some for slamming politicians and celebrities on The Daily Show, but he shouldn’t expect any love from WWE fans after turning heel at Sunday’s SummerSlam event.
Serving as a guest host for the show, Stewart couldn’t help himself from stepping inside the ring during the Champion vs. Champion match between Seth Rollins and West Newbury native John Cena.
While the former Daily Show star has feuded with Rollins in the past, Stewart surprised fans by hitting Cena with a steel chair.

Rollins would go on to win the match thanks to Stewart’s intervention, leaving Cena fans around the world very, very sad.
