Carly Fiorina vies for crucial Wahlberg endorsement
New Kid on the Block Donnie Wahlberg called the Republican presidential hopeful a “strong candidate.’’
In case you were wondering what Donnie Wahlberg thinks about the 2016 presidential race, the New Kids on the Block member tweeted out his musings about Republican candidate Carly Fiorina on Sunday morning.
The Boston-bred actor and reality TV star called Fiorina a “strong candidate’’ in a Twitter post after watching her recent appearance on Meet the Press.

It will be interesting to see if the tweet, sent out to Wahlberg’s over 700,000 followers, helps Fiorina gain any supporters.
According to FiveThirtyEight, the Republican presidential hopeful is still lagging behind in the polls and needs to crack the top 10 in order to participate in CNN’s upcoming debate on September 16.
Perhaps the Wahlberg plug can help Fiorina out.
