Jared Leto, Ellen Page Dubbed PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrities
Jared Leto’s list of 2014 honors has continues to grow.
The “Dallas Buyers Club’’ Academy Award-winning actor was dubbed one of PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrities today, along with “Juno’’ actress Ellen Page.
The pair were up against fellow celeb veggie-eaters such as Ariana Grande, Carrie Underwood, Samuel L. Jackson, and Woody Harrelson, according to PETA’s website.
Leto became a vegetarian in his teens before switching to a vegan lifestyle after learning about some rather unpleasant animal additives in dairy foods. Page is also a vegan.
PETA attributes the “glow’’ that “certain celebrities’’ have (also dubbing them as seemingly ageless) to their practice of refraining from eating meat.
