A number of celebrities have offered video shoutouts to show their support for Boston Pride Week, which kicked off on June 6.

The annual week-plus of festivities, which runs through June 15, celebrates diversity and raises awareness for issues facing the LGBT community.

In addition to the series of events planned in the Hub, Boston Pride also recently released a few video messages of notable celebrity names showing their support for the cause, including “The View’’ co-host and soon-to-be Mrs. Donnie Wahlberg, Jenny McCarthy, as well as Medford native Maria Menounos.
