Celebrity-Studded Fenway Softball Game to Benefit Charity Friday

Fenway Park will host a celebrity softball game to benefit the Massachusetts Iraq & Afghanistan Fallen Heroes Memorial Fund. The Boston Globe

The Massachusetts Iraq & Afghanistan Fallen Heroes Memorial Fund will host its inaugural Fenway for the Fallen celebrity softball game at Fenway Park on Friday afternoon and it’s free.

“Person of Interest’’ star Kevin Chapman, Dropkick Murphys frontman Ken Casey, and “Wahlburgers’’ chef and star Paul Wahlberg will co-host the event which supports the fund, otherwise known as Mass. Fallen Heroes, a charity organized in 2010 to memorialize fallen service men and women.

Other notable names on the roster include former Red Sox players Luis Tiant, Dennis Ray “Oil Can’’ Boyd, and Kevin Millar, comedic actor Lenny Clarke, CNN reporter Brooke Baldwin, and “Law & Order: SVU’’ star Danny Pino.
