Casey Kasem’s Daughter to File Missing Persons Report for Father
Casey Kasem’s daughter Kerri Kasem plans to file a missing persons report because she says her father has vanished while apparently under the care of her stepmother, PEOPLE reports.
A representative for Kerri Kasem told PEOPLE that Kerri has not seen her father since she visited him in a care facility on May 7.
A judge ordered an investigation into Kasem’s whereabouts Monday after his wife’s attorney said he had “no idea’’ where Kasem is.
Kasem, 82, has Parkinson’s disease and his wife Jean Kasem had been in charge of his healthcare. On Monday, Kerri Kasem and was appointed her father’s temporary caretaker.

This led to the judge ordering an investigation into Kasem’s whereabouts after both parties revealed they did not know where Casey Kasem was.
This latest investigation is part of an ongoing dispute between Casey Kasem’s children and their stepmother over access to their ailing father.
At the hearing, Jean Kasem’s attorney Craig Marcus said the former radio and TV host had likely been removed from the country but didn’t know his whereabouts. Kerri Kasem’s attorney, Troy Martin, said the family believes the TV host has been taken to an Indian reservation in Washington state.
