Report: Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Obtain Marriage License
Kim and Kanye were in New York City for the Met Gala last night, but it’s a supposed California transaction that has the couple in the headlines.
According to Life & Style, Kim and Kanye are now legally married — on paper. The post cites an unnamed source who told the magazine that the couple obtained a California marriage license sometime last week.
Kimye are reportedly preparing to tie the knot in front of a slew of A-listers this month in France. Us Weekly did some digging and found out that people looking to be married in France must have one member of the couple residing in the town of the ceremony for 40 days prior to the ceremony. The report cites that West’s known luxury apartment in France “should fulfill the 40-day residency requirement.’’
