“Many of the people who have graced the stage have become iconic, household names,’’ Blumenreich told the media. “Tonight, we commemorate another part of our history, that being Aziz Ansari breaking all of our previous ticket sales records with an amazing ten consecutive sold out shows. That hasn’t happened before and the bar has been set pretty high for other performers that come to Boston.’’

If you thought seven days of back-to-back performances would be overwhelming for Ansari, think again, as the comedian has enjoyed his shows in the Hub so far.
“They’ve been good,’’ Ansari told Boston.com. “It’s not too bad, just two a night. Not too bad.’’
The “Parks and Recreation’’ star will be performing at the Wilbur through May 5.
