Swizz Beatz Plans to Bunk at Harvard for Management Program
It’s showtime.
Hook creator-extraordinaire Swizz Beatz was recently accepted into the Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management course and Beatz reportedly wants the real college experience, including dorm room bunking.
The producer, whose real name is Kasseem Dean, was at the premiere of “The Amazing Spider-Man 2’’ in New York last night, where he gave ShowBiz 411 an exclusive about his soon-to-be furthered education.
“I could have stayed with a lot of different famous people,’’ he told the website’s Roger Friedman. “But I didn’t want to pull strings. And I wanted to have the full experience of being there.’’
The program, part of the Executive Education programs, runs for three weeks per year for three years, and costs $38,000 annually. The total cost of the program is a whopping $114,000. At the end, Beatz will take home a certificate and what we’re guessing will be invaluable contacts.
So, who else will be getting in on the super-pricey fun? According to its website, the Owner/President Management program is “ideal for CEOs, COOs, presidents, and managing directors of companies with annual sales of at least $10 million.’’ Cha-ching.
Beatz posted an Instagram snap of what looks like an SMS acceptance message on April 16.

The 2014 portion (called Unit I) of the program launches on May 11, so keep your eyes open for Beatz (with wife Alicia Keys and their son, Egypt, who are joining him on weekends, according to Friedman’s report) who will be kicking it in Cambridge next month.
