Hasty Pudding honors Dame Helen Mirren in Cambridge

Hasty Pudding Theatricals honored its 2014 Woman of the Year, actress Helen Mirren, with its annual parade through Harvard Square in Cambridge Jan. 30 before roasting her during a closed-door ceremony.

Mirren was joined on stage by members of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals during the roast. From left: Karl Kopczynski as “The Snow Queen,” Max McGillivray as “Queen Elizabeth II,” and Alex Willis as “Queen Elizabeth I.”

Mirren knocked down a target with a toy gun, with Sam Clark portraying Al Pacino beside her.

During the roast, Bobby Flitsch (not pictured), who was portraying former British Prime Minister Tony Blair as a game show host, held up a sign as part of the game for Mirren to demonstrate “twerking.” She wagged her finger and at first refused to do it, but a few moments later she gave it a try.
