Tiny Cassidy celebrates ‘Jackie After O’
Author and former Globe writer Tina Cassidy (above) – who wrote 2006’s “Birth: The Surprising History of How We Are Born’’ – celebrated the launch of her new book, “Jackie After O,’’ at Middlesex Lounge in Cambridge on Friday night. “Jackie’’ follows the iconic former first lady during the year after the death of her second husband. The full title of the book, published last week by the HarperCollins imprint It Books, is “Jackie After O: One Remarkable Year When Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Defied Expectations and Rediscovered Her Dreams.’’
