Just in time for a beach read.

Sigh. AP

E.L. James is releasing her erotic S&M novel Fifty Shades of Grey as told from her male protagonist’s perspective in a new novel simply titled, Grey. The book will be published by Vintage Books on June 18 (Grey’s birthday, according to the release) and will recount Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey’s torrid romance through his eyes.

According to the author, this is all your fault. “This book is dedicated to those readers who asked… and asked… and asked… and asked for this,’’ James notes on her blog. Grey will explore the 27-year-old billionaire’s inner thoughts as he struggles with his emerging feelings for Steele. As the release notes, “He is swept up in a storm of emotion he cannot comprehend and cannot resist.’’
