‘Saturday Night Live’ takes on Trump-Kanye meeting

Of course “Saturday Night Live’’ would poke fun at President Trump’s White House confab with rapper Kanye West last week. It kicked off this week’s episode.

Once again, Trump was portrayed by Alec Baldwin. The Trump character welcomed his guests, West (played by Chris Redd) and football legend Jim Brown (Kenan Thompson), into the Oval Office, introducing them as “Chicago types.’’

As the West character went off on a somewhat incoherent rant, the Trump character said to himself: “This guy might be coocoo.’’

The Brown character’s internal dialogue included this line: “I played football with a leather helmet, and my brain is still working better than his.’’

Another line from the Trump character: “Black people love me way more than Alec Baldwin.’’
