You can celebrate this holiday season by attending your favorite shows at a discount all over Boston.The annual Mayor’s Holiday Special returns for its 13th installment with discounted tickets to hundreds of holiday performances, dining offers, and free entertainment, Mayor Marty Walsh announced in a statement Wednesday.Presented by the Highland Street Foundation in collaboration with Arts Boston and the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau, the two-month-long event celebrates the performing arts in Greater Boston, according to the mayor’s office.Participants will be able to buy discounted tickets to more than 500 holiday performances, including local favorites like the Boston Pops’ Holiday Pops, The Christmas Revelers, Langston Hughes’ Black Nativity, and multiple performances of The Nutcracker, the mayor’s office said.Tickets can be purchased at the ArtsBoston BoxTix Booth locations at Copley Square and Faneuil Hall Marketplace or on the Mayor’s Holiday Special website, where you can check out the full list of performances and deals.
