Grab a glass of pinot, The Realish Housewives of Boston is coming soon
This could be the beginning of #RHOB.
Fabulous news for those few fans of Jackie and her infamous Packie. A new parody play with a Boston riff on Bravo’s Real Housewives series is coming to The Citi Performing Arts Center this spring.
Written by two Chicago-based comics (what??), The Realish Housewives of Boston: A Parody is an original play with fresh trainwreck characters. You’ll meet Rovanka, “the baroness of an uncertain ethnicity’’; Claudia Louise, a “glamorous and conniving’’ type; Desiree, a “neck supermodel’’; Brooke, a “self-made business tycoon’’; and Gwen, the only sane one of the bunch. Even better, the audience’s lively host is a character named Randy (close enough to Andy, right?).
The Realish Housewives of Boston: A Parody runs at The Citi Performing Arts Center from March 29 through April 3. Tickets are on sale now for $38 at citicenter.org.
