London Bridge brightened up as a rainbow road for rainy Monday

This one-day-only public art initiative turned the bridge into a walkable rainbow.

London can be gray and rainy, but one bland British morning got a bit brighter when the London Bridge was turned into a rainbow.

Spark Your City, a movement dedicated to transforming regular cityscapes into “extraordinary living playgrounds,’’ recently collaborated with BBC 1 presenter Gemma Cairney to cheer people up on a “gloomy Monday morning,’’ according to Mashable.

The installation is only on the bridge for one day, but is already memorialized through social media. But no, there aren’t any images of Mario speeding down the Rainbow Road.
