With summer rolling around, we know you’re looking for a relaxing way to beat the heat. There are a number of public swimming pools in the Greater Boston area, some indoor and some outdoor, and taking a dive in can be a fun experience on a hot and humid day. For a family-friendly outing, try visiting the free Frog Pond on Boston Common later this month, where they have a spray-splash wading pool (opening June 28). For a more luxurious experience, you can visit The Colonnade Hotel’s rooftop pool, where a day pass costs $60 and food and drinks are served.

We’d like to find out about the public pools that Boston.com readers love to visit.
