The first of April brings out two kinds of people — those that love a great prank and those who can’t stand the jokes and general tomfoolery.
Bostonians are, apparently, known for their sense of humor. The city is second only to Chicago in a ranking of America’s funniest cities done by The Humor Research Lab at the University of Colorado Boulder. Boston is also known for its comedy scene, with comics like Conan O’Brien and Bill Burr earning their stripes on stages around the city.
It stands to reason that the city is full of great April Fools’ Day stories.
