We want to know: What are your New Year’s resolutions for 2022?
We want to know what goals and plans you have for 2022.
The first of January may just be a day on a calendar, but for a lot of people, the start of a new year is a chance to turn a new leaf and reassess the goals we want to achieve in our lives. Whether that be big life milestones we hope to reach in the coming months or small habit changes, now is the time that many of us think seriously about making it happen.
We asked readers if they were optimistic about the new year and the majority of the more than 2,000 people who responded to our poll said they were expecting this year to just be a continuation of 2021. After the year we’ve had, it’s understandable that some of us are more focused on just getting through the next year one day at a time.
Despite the tepid optimism about the new year, many Americans are still hoping to make changes in 2022. Nearly one in four Americans say they are making a New Year’s resolution, according to a poll by YouGov and Economist, and four in five people that have made resolutions are feeling pretty confident about sticking to them.
The most common resolutions for Americans tend to be about living a healthier life whether that be by exercising more or eating a better diet. People are also setting out to improve their personal happiness, travel more, achieve financial goals, and more.
