With the highly anticipated release of the “Barbie” movie next week, you might be thinking about all things pink. Greta Gerwig’s comedy will be hitting theaters on July 21, starring Margot Robbie as the iconic title character and Ryan Gosling as Ken. The film follows Barbie’s journey after leaving Barbie Land and entering the real world, and it features a vibrant, neon set and costumes that have gone viral.
Whether or not you like Barbie, the trailer for the movie proclaims that the blockbuster appeals to everyone. And if you are in the camp of Barbie fans, you probably have some memories of playing with the dolls growing up. Maybe you owned a Barbie Dreamhouse or collected outfits. We want to hear all about what Barbie meant to you as a kid — and if you’ll be seeing the movie.
