Readers: Share your airline travel experience over the holidays
Did you experience any snags?
Air travel has been tough to navigate for many travelers over the past few weeks.
Logan Airport travelers have faced a string of canceled and delayed flights since Christmas Eve, as airlines dealt with staffing shortages due to the COVID-19 surge. The problems at Logan continue this week, with 261 delays and 146 cancellations on Monday, according to FlightAware.com, a website that tracks delayed and canceled flights.
Did you travel by air over the holidays? If so, where did you go and what was your experience? Did you encounter delays or cancellations?
What’s more, beginning last month those traveling internationally had to prove results of a negative COVID-19 test within one day of boarding a flight to the U.S. If you traveled internationally, what was your testing experience like?
