Tell us: What are your favorite holiday cookies?
Plus, we want to hear about your holiday baking traditions.
Consider it officially holiday cookie season, that sweet time of year when tins overflow with elaborately decorated, ginger-infused, sugar-dusted cookies. The only problem: Which one do you eat first?
These are the cookies that make their grand reentry into the world in December, often disappearing after the new year until Christmas rolls around again. We’re talking about frosted sugar cookies in the shape of Christmas trees, gingerbread decorated with gumdrops, and chocolate crinkle cookies that look like they’ve been dusted with snow. Among these holiday desserts, is there a cookie that stands out? We’d love to hear about your favorite holiday cookie in the poll below (if you can’t find your No. 1 pick, feel free to write it in).
We also want to hear about the holiday baking traditions that you carry out each year. Do you spend a day baking cookies with your family? Do you participate in a neighborhood cookie swap? Share your experiences in the survey below or e-mail us at [email protected], and we’ll compile them in a follow-up story. Who knows — it might inspire another reader to start their own holiday baking tradition.
