The Patriots are on the verge of what could be the team’s most consequential NFL Draft in decades, yet there’s still plenty of mystery surrounding which of the many possible paths New England might take.
Holding the third overall pick, the Patriots occupy an intriguing spot in the first round of the draft (set to begin at 8 p.m. on Thursday). Needing a quarterback—along with help at a plethora of other positions—the post-Bill Belichick Patriots leadership has some enormous decisions to make.
