With the 2026 FIFA World Cup draw now over, the schedule for the group stage — including five of the seven games that will be hosted at Gillette Stadium — is now set.

England, France, Ghana, Haiti, Morocco, Norway, and Scotland are the nations who will absolutely be coming to “Boston Stadium” (FIFA’s designation for Gillette Stadium located in Foxborough), with one additional nation (potentially Iraq, Bolivia, or Suriname) set to emerge through the FIFA Play-Off Tournament.

While some local fans will undoubtedly be disappointed that Brazil is the only team in Group C not scheduled to play locally, others will be excited for the Haiti-Scotland matchup (or perhaps Scotland-Morocco, another Group C game).

In addition, England (one of the tournament favorites) will play Ghana on June 23. The France-Norway Group I clash on June 26 is seen as one of the better matchups of the group stage, pitting two quality teams — which boast the likes of Erling Haaland against Kylian Mbappé — against each other.

Here’s the group stage schedule of local World Cup games:

  • Haiti v Scotland: June 13, kickoff at 9 p.m.
  • Bolivia/Iraq/Suriname v Norway: June 16, kickoff at 6 p.m.
  • Scotland v Morocco: June 19, kickoff at 6 p.m.
  • England v Ghana: June 23, kickoff at 4 p.m.
  • Norway v France: June 26, kickoff 3 p.m.

And looking ahead to the knockout stage, Gillette Stadium will host two more games (a Round of 32 matchup and a quarterfinal). The teams that will play in those games are impossible to fully predict at this point, but (given the Round of 32 includes the winner of Group E), it could end up being Germany.

The United States men’s national team, meanwhile, will play in Group D. The U.S. drew a group that includes Australia, Paraguay, and the play-off winner of Kosovo, Romania, Slovakia or Türkiye.
