It's that time of year again. Help us update our guide to the best apple orchards.

There’s nothing quite like apple picking on a crisp fall day. Spending the day with friends or family wandering around orchards and ending with a bushel of perfectly ripe apples just never gets old — and around here, the orchard options are endless.

Hollis Hills Farms in Fitchburg and Red Apple Farm in Phillipston were recently featured among a USA Today reader list of best apple orchards in the country. Of the dozens in the area, many offer farm activities, live music, and farm-to-table food options that bring the whole day together.
